El Clúster Digital de Catalunya participa en el llançament del projecte ITBridge a Cluj-Napoca

Rosa Porta,

Clúster Digital de Catalunya travels to Cluj-Napoca to participate in the launch of the ITBridge project. This initiative involves the collaboration of several technological clusters, including the Kharkiv IT Cluster, the IT Dnipro Community, and the Odesa IT Family from Ukraine, as well as the Transylvania IT Cluster in Romania.

The main purpose of the project is to promote digital transformation, foster economic growth, and strengthen resilience in both Europe and Ukraine. This collaboration aims to enhance digital connectivity, aligning with the EU strategy to integrate Ukraine into the single European market.

During the sessions in Cluj-Napoca, Isabel Botey and Yeimy Ossina, project managers of European projects at the Cluster Digital, exchanged ideas with the other project members and laid the foundations for upcoming activities. The planned actions include:

  • Training workshops: Aimed at enhancing the capacity of Ukrainian and European clusters.
  • Collaboration networks: Designed to connect Ukrainian clusters with European business support organizations.
  • Business development and internationalization workshops: Intended to help Ukrainian companies expand into EU markets.
  • International brokerage events: To facilitate direct connections between Ukrainian and EU IT companies, offering practical support and mentorship.

The first day in Romania served as a starting point with a meeting involving all project partners, where each entity presented its projects, strengths, lines of action, and alignment with the initiative. On the second day, they visited several innovation centers and identified the challenges Ukrainian technology companies face when entering the European market.

This initiative represents a unique opportunity to unite technological clusters from different regions, strengthen digital ecosystems, and promote cooperation between the European Union and Ukraine.
