The Digital Cluster of Catalonia is a private association that brings together startups, SMEs, large companies, entities and research groups with the main objective of promoting the competitiveness of the Catalan ICT sector, facilitating the digital transformation of the industry and participating in the resolution of strategic challenges in the country.

To do so, it puts special focus on the manufacturing industry, being this an opportunity for growth in the field of ICT since it represents the fundamental economic base of Catalonia, with a dense fabric of small and medium-sized companies, highly exporting, innovative and with the capacity for R&D investment. In addition, it contributes to a joint strategy of the digital sector with which to align the interests of technology companies with the needs of the industry, maximize opportunities and improve their competitiveness in the global scenario.

Promote the competitiveness of the Catalan ICT sector and facilitate the digital transformation of the industry, contributing to the resolution of strategic challenges in the country. Promote synergies and turn the cluster and its members into benchmarks of excellence and innovation at local and international level.

Being a reference space in ICT in Catalonia with the capacity to promote R&D&i projects as a result of collaboration between companies, universities, administrations and society. To be a key player in promoting the digitalisation of Catalan industry, and to ensure that the organisations that form part of it are benchmarks in the adoption of transformative technologies and in creating added value for the country’s economy.

Digital Transformation of Industry

We contribute to the implementation of projects that drive the digitalization of the country’s strategic economic sectors. We achieve this by generating and managing R&D&I projects that address the needs of key sectors, collaborating with the industrial fabric and other clusters, and identifying specific challenges within industries, linking them with innovative solutions from our ecosystem.

Positioning and Visibility

We are committed to representing the interests of and showcasing the transformative potential of the digital sector in Catalonia. We work to enhance the visibility of member companies and the Cluster’s activities by organizing thematic meetings to address shared challenges, fostering collaboration and innovation among members.

Internationalization

We promote the international dimension of Catalonia’s digital transformation at all levels and for all key players. We participate in and manage international projects and collaborate with counterpart organizations to open global opportunities for our member network.

Knowledge and Training

We build a knowledge hub and permanent market observation tools as added value for our member network and the broader digital sector. We promote a training agenda focused on updating and developing digital talent and create working groups with partners and industry representatives to tackle shared challenges.
